We at Dirty Beer Hole love us some good cheap beer. But we have also been known to occasionally indulge in a fancy-pants beers from time to time. This one hit a little close to home and it had Dirty Beer Hole quite concerned that some of its posts may have been under the scrutiny of the powers-that-be at Alabama’s liquor control agency. Word on the street is that Ol’ Dirty Bastard of the Wu Tang Clan also shared in his concerns. But worry no more Mr. Bastard, the ban has been lifted.
For a period of about 4 months, the State of Alabama didn’t allow Dirty Bastard, a Scotch Style Ale by Founders Brewery, to be sold on shelves of grocery and liquor stores in fear that kids would read the “vulgar” label. Just recently, Alabama allowed the beers back on the market — probably after realizing that that kids usually don’t frequent the craft beer aisle. And if they do, they’re probably bastards anyways.
So here’s one for the good guys, keep on keepin’ in with your vulgar selves, Founders.Google+
